Parish Feast Week August 24th-30th
Sunday 24th August
We begin our week of celebration with Mass at 8.30 am followed by breakfast - join us for coffee and croissants.
2nd Mass at 10.30 am. Coffee and company straight after mass will lead into lunch and an afternoon of fun arranged by the Catenian Association.
7.00 pm Songs of Praise; Favourite hymns and sacred songs, chosen & introduced by members of the Parish. Arranged by the music group- refreshments afterwards.

Monday 25th August
10.30 am Mass followed by refreshments and a chance to look around the Church.
Afternoon - A Parish walk, enjoy a delightful walk around Anthony Head - bring a picnic and join us. Full details to be announced.
7.00 pm Parish Social - A "Church" quiz - test your knowledgs and your trivia! fun and food.

Tuesday 26th August
10.30 am Guided tour of the Church. This is your chance to see the parts behind closed doors.
2.00 pm The Friendship Group are your hosts for the afternoon and they invite you for an hour or two to join them.
7.00 pm Evening Mass. This will be a quiet evening mass with time for reflection and prayer, followed by refreshments.

Wednesday 27th August
10.30 am Mass followed by quiet exposition of the Blessed Sacramen.
2.30 pm Benediction - a special welcome to housebound parishioners. Hosted by a Eucharistic Minister and followed by refreshments.
7.00 pm An evening with St. Augustine, who was He? What did He say? Why is He important? What is Hippo? Your chance to find out.

Thursday 28th August
Your hosts for the day, The co workers of Mother Theresa, the Apostleship of the Sea and the Sewing Group, welcome you to visit them and see what they do. There will be refreshments provided all day.
7.00 pm Feast day Mass, followed by cheese and wine plus refreshments arranged and hosted by the Catholic Women's League.

Friday 29th August
10.30 am Mass followed by refreshments and a chance to explore the Church.
2.30 pm Children's afternoon, activities and events of all types, arranged by parish catechists- there may even be a visit by a shire horse!
7.00 pm Join the music group for an evening of music from the liturgy. Come and sing with us and make a joyful noise to the Lord, and join in for a social afterwards.

Saturday 30th August
10.30 am Mass followed by refreshments, a flower demonstration and a chance to explore the Church. 2.00 pm Treasure Hunt, come and search for clues and find the treasure! Arranged by the Justice and Peace Group.
6.00 Mass for Sunday followed by the PARISH BARBECUE and party. Arranged and hosted by the Servers and Flower Group.
